Understanding referral tracking

Referral tracking connects the people you introduce with your partnership. Understanding how it works helps you set up campaigns properly and read your reporting with confidence.

Links and references

Each partner receives identifiers, typically a referral link and a partner reference. When someone registers through your link, or quotes your reference where that is supported, their registration is associated with your partnership according to the attribution rules in your partner agreement.

Use campaign links

If you promote Centrino in more than one place, create a separate tracked link for each channel or campaign. This lets you see which placements bring engaged visitors, not just clicks.

Reading the referral journey

• Registered: the person has created an account.
• Pending: onboarding has started but is not complete.
• Verified: onboarding and verification checks are complete.
• Active: the account is in use.
